The Chicago Blackhawks run a great campaign called “What’s Your Goal?”

It allows fans to voice their greatest Blackhawks’ related wishes, with the team doing their best to make them come true.

A woman named Jenny, who manages the Centennial Activity Center in Park Ridge, Ill., told the team that her goal was to bring a group of seniors to one of their games at the United Center.

The Blackhawks did her one better. They brought the game to the city’s most active seniors. Head coach Joel Quenneville, two assistant coaches, and TV play-by-play man Pat Foley visited the center to coordinate a game of 3-on-3 floor hockey.

They set up a rink right in the middle of the building, and let residents battle it out.

The lesson here? It’s never too late to pick up hockey.
