Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin, 26, has hung up her leotard, but she is still neck deep in Olympic spirit.
The former gymnast is in Rio de Janeiro covering the Olympic Games, and even though she isn’t going for another U.S. gold, she is still capturing the heart of a nation.
Liukin listed her Boston apartment on Airbnb while she’s in Brazil, and she will be donating all the proceeds to the Corey C. Griffin Foundation, a grant-making organization that supports children and families through healthcare, education, and social entrepreneurship.
Liukin’s one-bedroom, one-bath home, which is near Boston Harbor, was going for $1,250 per night.
“While I’m in Brazil rooting for the next generation of gymnastic superstars in person, I’m putting my place up on Airbnb!” she wrote in the listing. “In fact, you might even see me, from my own living room, while flipping the channels on my flat-screen TV!”
