Nina Burges, 80, had never seen her beloved Texas Aggies play in person until her family made the wise decision to surprise her with game tickets for Wednesday’s AdvoCare Texas Bowl featuring the Aggies and the Kansas State Wildcats.
It made for the perfect Christmas present.

Once at NRG Stadium in Houston, she got the VIP treatment.
It didn’t take long for Texas Bowl officials to help make Burgess’ first Aggie game a memorable experience. Officials from the bowl reached out to the family, offering up pregame sideline passes, which they surprised Burgess with upon their arrival to the stadium. Houston Texans executives escorted them to the field before Texas A&M’s warmups. (The Eagle)
