It’s never too early to start looking for what fuels the soul.

Aviana Zizi, 4, is at home in the water. Ever since she was two, her father, a Los Angeles firefighter, put the tot on his surf board as he paddled out into ocean.

Just last week, Aviana caught her first solo wave, and the pure joy was captured with a GoPro.

“Very proud papa,” her dad told KABC. “She’s riding the wave and laughing the whole time, and I’m laughing as I’m chasing her.”

Although this daredevil craves the thrill, she has more subdued aspirations. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she replied, “A librarian.”

From reading books to reading waves, this southern California girl is on the right track.
