Earlier this week, we told you about T.J. Onwuanibe, a 14-year-old brain cancer survivor who learned he was going to be announcing the Baltimore Ravens’ 2017 NFL Draft pick.
The opportunity was presented to him by Ravens’ head coach John Harbaugh at a school assembly, and made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Ravens.
So, the teen stepped on stage in Philadelphia and with an emphatic fist pump just before reading his team’s selection, Onwuanibe’s moment was even better than expected.

Onwuanibe was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015, and underwent radiation and chemotherapy treatment. Thankfully, doctors told him in March that he was in remission — another reason to fist pump.
