NFL star J.J. Watt is always up to something good.
In his latest stand-up move, he donated $10,000 to a family who lost their father in a car accident.
Jenni Steiner and her husband, Kirk U’Ren, were hit by a speeding driver on Highway 30 in Madison, Wisconsin on Feb. 12. Kirk was killed instantly and Jenni remains in critical condition with severe head injuries. The two are parents to one-year-old twins sons.
According to a YouCaring page set up for the family,
“Their passion for sports, competitive spirits, generous hearts and warm smiles created a lifelong bond. As a couple, they were engaging and always fun to be around. Kirk and Jenni have been married for almost six years. They always dreamed of raising kids together and were blessed with twin boys, Kaden and Grayson last year.”
Along with his donation, Watt left a comment that read,
“This is terrible news to hear. Kirk was a big help to our foundation in the early years and was always so energetic and upbeat. My thoughts are with Jenni and the whole family, and if there is any way that I can help, please let me know.” (ESPN)
Kirk was a sales supervisor for Pepsi-Cola and helped grow the Pepsi/Walmat Justin J. Watt Foundation golf outing, which raised money for Watt’s foundation and for the Boys & Girls Club in Madison.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
