At 36 years old, Ravens’ wide receiver Steve Smith is one of the oldest players in the NFL. However, he isn’t too old to attend prom.

Smith asked an 18-year-old Charlotte girl named Aubrey to her senior prom.

According to Dream on 3,  “Aubrey has autism, a rare disorder called “vein of Galen Malformation”, suffers from a tic/seizure disorder, and deals with an auditory processing delay and speech apraxia. She has used a communication device to communicate for most of her life, and she hopes to work with computers when she grows up.”

“I am excited because Steve Smith Sr. asked me to prom,” Bridges told the Gaston Gazette. “I am so happy that I danced”

Smith partnered with Dream on 3, which creates joyful experiences through the world of sports for children with chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities.

Looks like it will be more than just touchdown dances for Smith.
