On the gridiron, Cleveland Browns guard Cameron Erving is a beast at 6’6″ and 313 pounds. Off, he’s a gentle giant.

When Erving heard that Elyria High School student Elna Wright’s boyfriend, Cody, passed away and she wouldn’t have a date to prom, Erving stepped up in a big way.

“She and Cody went to every school dance together,” her mother, told the Chronicle-Telegram. “And nobody asked her, which is understandable, but we still wanted to make this a night that she would love and cherish.”

Wright is nonverbal and needs a wheelchair to get around, but Erving made her feel like a queen for a night. He rented a limo and a tux, and smiled big for pictures.

This was made possible thanks to Wright’s father, who got the ball rolling on social media telling the world about his daughter’s love for sports and how she didn’t have a date to the dance.

“I was contacted by someone with the team and I just jumped at the chance,”Erving said.

What a night. What a guy.
