All it takes is 30 seconds to make someone’s day. Look no further than Cristiano Ronaldo, the soccer superstar who is gearing up to play in the 2018 World Cup.

As he was loading up onto the Portuguese team bus to travel to Russia, he spotted a young boy in a green Ronaldo jersey.

So, he called the fan over and embraced him with high-fives and hugs in addition to posing for a picture and signing the front of his jersey.

Ronaldo certainly isn’t one to shy away from his young fans. Remember the time he filmed a heartwarming message for a 13-year-old Brazilian boy named Rodrido, who made money for his family by selling whatever he could find in order to support his disabled sister?

“Hello, Rodrigo. I made this video to send you a lot of strength and to tell you to believe in your potential,” Ronaldo said.

“My sister Katia was telling me that you have a lot of talent and what I can tell you is that you follow your dreams. I hope that you can have a lot of luck in your future. A big hug, my friend.”

Or how about the time he surprised a child on the streets of Madrid when he went undercover as just a regular guy working on his footwork?

A team of people applied makeup and facial hair to Ronaldo’s ever-recognizable face. Then he donned a wig, sunglasses and a fat suit underneath his grey sweats.

When a boy gravitated toward him to kick the ball around, Ronaldo pulled a marker out and picked up the ball so he could sign it. That’s when he took off his wig and faux facial hair to reveal himself. The boy’s jaw dropped, and a crowd quickly engulfed them with cameras and photo requests.
