ESPN’s “My Wish” series always delivers.

Thanks to Make-A-Wish Michigan and U.S. women’s soccer star Alex Morgan, 14-year-old Mackenzie Toman had her dream come true.

The teen from Davison, Michigan had major brain surgery in November after doctors found that a severe chiari malformation on her brain was pushing on her spinal cord.

Her surgery was successful, but medical professionals told her that she couldn’t play contact sports again, including her favorite — soccer.

Still very much a part of the team, Toman was at her team pizza party when she got a personal message from her favorite player, Alex Morgan.

Morgan invited Toman and her family to attend the U.S. Women’s National Team’s final practice and game in Chicago before the Olympics. There, she kicked the ball around with Morgan and met the entire team.
