When East Tennessee State University women’s basketball coach Brittney Ezell saw 9-year-old Evan Brown cheering like a mad man at their open practice, she decided to invite him onto the court.

Brown has Down Syndrome, but got the thrill of taking center stage to shoot a basket in front of a lively crowd. When freshman guard Kelci Marosites helped the ball go in, Brown’s reaction was priceless.
