The Houston Rockets topped the century mark when they beat the Milwaukee Bucks 111-92 on Wednesday night, but they weren’t the only ones to do so.
Lucy Pierce is turning 100 years old on Saturday, and to kick off her birthday celebration, she parked it courstside to watch her favorite team.
Following his 38 points in the win, James Harden gave the game ball to Pierce, and the exchange was every bit endearing as you’d expect.

“Today is her 100th birthday, so it’s a blessing,” Harden told ESPN’s Doris Burke. “You know, she’s excited, she’s sitting on the court. She’s just smiling over there, and I had to go give her the game ball and tell her how blessed she is, and how blessed I am for meeting her.”
That’s an MVP move right there.
