It was the ACC Cross Country Championship and Boston College runner Madeline Adams gave every ounce of energy she had in the race. However, her output didn’t last long enough. Her legs collapsed just yards from the finish line as other competitors blazed by her.
Then, something amazing happened. Clemson’s Evie Tate and Louisville’s Rachel Pease ignored their own finishing time to help Adams make it across the line. Unbelievable move by some true ACC champions.
