Beautiful things are happening in classrooms all across the country, and I’m not just talking about the knowledge and wisdom imparted on chalk boards.
Coronado High School (Lubbock, TX) student Hector Montez developed such a strong relationship with his teacher and football coach Thomas Walser that he wanted to thank him for playing such a major role in his life.
That’s why, recalling Walser’s favorite shoes, Montez bought his teacher a pair of Air Jordan’s. Not just any pair either. He found Air Jordan 12 “Taxi,” the version that Walser had wanted since he was 12 years old, but never got his hands on.
