Muhammad Ali’s legacy surpasses boxing, and will live on forever.

For religious beliefs, he refused entry into the Vietnam War, and was found guilty on draft evasion charges. Subsequently, he was stripped of his boxing title, and not allowed to fight for four years, until the Supreme Court overturned the conviction.

During the time he was “boxing’s outlaw,” Ali traveled the world giving speeches. In one particular speech, he talked about faith, life, and death when prompted by a retirement question.

“Your soul and your spirit never dies,” he said.
