How is a crossword puzzle similar to table tennis?
Just ask Will Shortz, who has edited The New York Times’ daily crossword puzzle since 1993. He’s a master of words, but he’s also ranked in the top 25% of table tennis players over 60.
He plays two hours a day, and intends on setting a world record for most consecutive days played. So far, he’s up to 1,474 days in a row. Six years ago, he even opened his own table tennis center in New York.
