At 70 years old, Peter Roseney isn’t slowing down. He’s speeding up. Need proof? How about the fact that the Swiss diver can still pull off two-and-a-half rotations from 88 feet and hit the water at speeds of 45+ MPH?

We don’t know much about Roseney, but it’s safe to say he was a competitive diver early on in life, and appears to enjoy the thrill so much that while most people his age are playing golf or tennis, he’s climbing to heights that would make your stomach turn.

Here’s a clip of Roseney at 69 years old flipping from the 65-foot Skoki Z. Mosta Bridge in Slovenia. In the first dive, he raises his arms confidently and, without hesitation, takes the scary plunge by doing a two-and-a-half forward rotation. Of course, the small crowd of locals gathered and applauded his dive. In his second leap, he threw down a one-and-a-half rotation.

Think that was Roseney’s limit? Think again. He was lifted to 88 feet in front of a roaring European crowd, where he successfully completed his signature two-and-half flips into the water (His dive comes at the 2:15 mark).

Will Roseney be hitting the water from dizzying heights again this summer? Time will tell. But it’s safe to say, if he’s physically able, he’ll be up there with arms in the air, dazzling spectators with what can only be described as poetry in motion.
