That’s why South High School in Denver, Colo. started a unifed cheerleading program.
“I didn’t want to see them in the background. I wanted to see them be part of a club, and do something, and be a part of something,” then senior Christina De Luna said after founding the program — the first of its kind in the Denver Public School District.
