Zach LaVine didn’t win this year’s NBA dunk contest, but the effects from his performance are still being felt.
According to a press release from BDA Sports Management, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard donated his $10,000 winnings to a school that caters to children who are deaf.
LaVine took a sign language class in high school and has since been an advocate for the deaf community.
Now that’s soaring to new heights.
