Less than two weeks after the U.S. won the World Cup, we caught up with starting defender Meghan Klingenberg, who took time out of her busy schedule to put on a soccer camp for young girls wanting to evolve their skills on the field and develop their character off it.

Held in her hometown of Pittsburgh, the MK Soccer Camp offered the expertise of pro players, coaches, certified sports psychologists, and sports performance coaches as part of the Meghan Klingenberg Foundation’s mission to advance human potential.

“I love doing my camp because it’s a way that I’m able to be involved with my community, and involved in the youth development in my community,” Klingenberg told us.
