Middle Tennessee State forward Reggie Upshaw was expecting an emotional night. As a senior, it was his final home game. He would step out onto the court one last time with his mom and dad flanked on each side to be applauded for his four years of hard word.

What he got was so much more, however. His brother, Gage, who attends the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs surprised him on Saturday night.

Take a look:

“My teammates already knew, so I guess I was the only one left in the dark about that and I don’t really like surprises. But to see him fly in from being at school – I haven’t seen him since Christmas – it was a special moment. I’m glad he could make it.” (GoBlueRaiders.com)

It was a great night for Upshaw. His team won, and he finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds, but the best part obviously came before tip-off.
