Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may have not made the cut on the football field, but his “moves” on-screen are certainly making a big impact in other people’s lives.
Jacob O’Connor, a 10-year-old from Roseville, Mich. was so inspired by the actor that he saved his 2-year-old brother, Dylan, from drowning.
According to WXYX-TV, Jacob found Dylan floating face down in their grandmother’s swimming pool. He pulled Dylan out, and thanks to seeing The Rock perform CPR in the 2015 film, San Andreas, administered life-saving chest compressions on his brother.
“There was a daughter that was drowning,” Jacob said about the movie, “and he [The Rock] had to get her out and he did the same thing.”
Dylan made a full recovery after spending one day in the hospital.
Of course, The Rock gave Jacob recognition on social media.

Thank you media friends for covering such an inspiring story. What a brave (and calm) 10yr old boy in the face of that heightened distress https://t.co/H9zDPRwVje

Jacob may not have Rock-life muscles (yet), but who needs them when your actions are more powerful than anything else?
