On the 75th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, 97-year-old World War II veteran Peter DuPre’ played a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner prior to the Seton Hal-Cal game at the Pearl Harbor Invitational.

DuPre’ was a medic in the Battle of the Bulge, and he was invited to Bloch Arena, which is located on the base that was attacked on Dec. 7, 1941, to honor America and kick off the second day of the tournament.

According to Rochester First, DuPre’ started playing the harmonica at nine years old, and he plays at church, and for those in hospitals and nursing homes.

Here’s his wonderful performance:

He even played for passengers and crew before his flight to Hawaii.
