Prince William, Princess Kate, And Prince Harry Race On The Track To End Stigma Surrounding Mental Illness

Who would you peg the winner in a footrace? Prince William or Prince Harry? Or would you go for the dark horse, Princess Kate?

The royal trio laced up on Sunday and toed the start line to raise money for Heads Together, their charity which aims to end the stigma surrounding mental illness, and encourages people to ask for help.

“We want to normalize mental health,” William said. “We want to get people talking about it, to make it more normal and to reduce the stigma. What you are doing and having so many of you here today, you’ve already seen the benefit of joining in, by being part of this marathon — we want to make it a mental health marathon.”

William, Kate, and Harry led the first leg of a five-person relay with about 150 runners who are training for the London Marathon. Their charity is the official partner of the race, and all runners in attendance are raising money for Heads Together.
