WATCH: Missy Franklin Reads Heartfelt Letter to Her Parents During Press Conference

Swimmer Missy Franklin is already a four-time gold medalist at the age of 20, and she has a shot at seven more medals this summer in Rio.

She’s a humble star that’s so likable, you can’t help but root for her in every area of her life.

Franklin recently wrote a heartfelt letter to her parents, which was was featured in a Minute Maid commercial.

She says,

“I know I was a bit of a surprise when I showed up later in your lives; a new adventure for the two of you to take on together…One of the hardest things I have to deal with is that I’m probably going to spend about half as much time with my parents as a lot of my friends are going to get with theirs, but I know for a fact that I would not be the person that I am today if you didn’t have me right when you did.”
